Averil has over 30 years' experience providing direct psychological and behaviour support services.

She has a special interest in the development of young children. She specialises in supporting neurodiverse children and those who have experienced traumatic events.

She provides specialist behaviour support and psychological services for individuals with disability, their families and carers.

​Averil has extensive experience in the direct provision of psychological services as well as in managing large, allied health teams supporting complex cases.

She has worked as an independent consultant and in a number of large and small not-for-profit organisations and government disability and community service departments.
